Obsession Racing Yacht

Firmstone - We were lucky enough to be the first in Australia to test a new 3M product used in the 'wrapping' of boat hulls. We conceptualised and designed the graphic that wrapped the hull of this 1-Elevel class racing yacht. This beautiful mermaid is a combination 3D rendering and photographic image, and a lot of hard work. What's not shown in this image is the rest of the hull, which is covered in silvery mermaid body scales - below and above the waterline. This decision was taken as the yacht spends time between races suspended in a cradle, and the client wanted to maximise the visual impact of the available area.
